After arguing, he shot the lady five times, causing her death in the living room of her house.
Artin Karabet Kozakian (83) was arrested by Cicpc agents and subjected to interrogations in which he admitted to having murdered his wife Nadia Zeitoune de Kozakian (81).
According to the version of the scientific police, the man argued with his wife on July 1st in the apartment they shared, located in Residencias Tamanaco, Maracay (Aragua).
In the middle of the fight, the man took out a firearm and shot the lady five times, killing her in the living room of the apartment. He subsequently hid the weapon under the bed, a Pietro Beretta 9mm.
In the first exchange, Kozakian told the Cicpc that they were victims of a robbery, a version that contradicts the images captured by cameras located in the building where it is observed when the man left the building once the homicide was committed.
Upon observing these images, the subject confessed to the murder. He was handed over to the 25th Prosecutor’s Office of the Aragua State Public Ministry.
