Motor Vehicle Registry has registered more than 2,700,000 vehicles

Since its creation, the Motor Vehicle Registry Directorate (DRA) has registered more than 2,700,000 vehicles. The highest percentage corresponds to cars for private use, followed by motorcycles and machinery.

The Computer Department of the Directorate of the Vehicle Registry, dependent on the Supreme Court of Justice, provided data on the current number of officially registered vehicles in our country.

To date, a total of 2,755,056 vehicles have been registered, from the date of creation of the DRA until June 30, when the last cut was made.

Of this total figure, 1,689,190 correspond to automobiles, 4,007 to old cars, 998,497 to motorcycles, 539 to old motorcycles and 63,271 to tractors, details the report.

Breaking it down by region, it can be seen that the Central department heads the list with 816,417 registered vehicles, followed by the capital with 480,685, Alto Paraná with 456,458, Itapúa with 232,577, Caaguazú with 153,213, Boquerón with 54,208, Cordillera with 73,127 and Guairá with 67,985 vehicles.

Meanwhile, Amambay has 67,818 vehicles, Canindeyú 57,596, San Pedro 70,965, Paraguarí 56,033, Concepción 45,902, Ñeembucú 25,802, Misiones 34,693, Presidente Hayes 26,908, Caazapá 31,989, Alto Paraguay 1,271 and Chaco 1,857 shot.
