A man investigated for several homicide cases was murdered this Sunday afternoon in Cambyreta. Of all the shots that the truck received, only one hit the subject and was enough to kill him.
Óscar Ramón Cardozo (52) was murdered on a local road in the Florida neighborhood of Cambyretâ, department of Itapúa around 5:35 p.m. when he was traveling as a passenger in a Kia Sorento van.
The shot received several bullets, one of which hit the temple of Cardozo, alias King Kong, who died as a result of that single projectile.
“We were in the morgue, they found a projectile in his temple, he died instantly according to the forensic doctor,” said prosecutor Francisco Martínez in an interview with 780 AM.
The person in charge of the vehicle leaned down and stayed down throughout the attack, with which he managed to save himself and escape unharmed.
Cardozo had three arrest warrants for intentional homicide, two from 2011 and one from 2019, according to the police report.
