When inaugurating in Ixtapa Zihuatanejo, Guerrero, the training day: “Empowering Ando”, within the framework of the National Meeting of PRI Women, Moreno Cárdenas expressed his confidence that the coalition will win in next year’s elections.
This was the first PRI event after Alejandro Moreno announced that his party is preparing an initiative to reform the Arms Law and families can arm themselves against crime.
“Our coalition is strong and it is powerful. It’s not that we can, it’s that we’ve already beaten them. They want to build the narrative that you can’t and of course you can, ”she argued.
He added that the opposition is “facing the most important challenge in our history, which is to defend democracy… We PRI members have the capacity, track record and commitment. We cannot remain nostalgic for the past and we have to correct course.”
In this context, he explained that together with the National Action (PAN) and the Democratic Revolution (PRD) parties, grouped in the Va por México coalition, “we are fighting the best battle, while others want to divide our party.”
