The well-known phrase that says “in life, brother, in life”, becomes material in times, places and opportune moments, as was the occasion that I was able to witness, in a wonderful musical concert with the category of the honored group, El trio San Valentín de la city of Villarrica, department of Guaira. The event is part of a series of living tributes to well-known national art figures who were previously honored in the cycle and who were with the trio such as Lizza Bogado, Juan Cancio Barreto and Marcelo Rojas, among others. Before a large audience they performed in the Pykasu event hall at Fuente Shopping.
Approximately 400 people were present to participate in a cultural event. That is not few people in times of pandemic. all almost protected with a face mask, which has been part of the global outfit for years to prevent the virus from entering and destroying our body. The music enveloped those present in a halo of happiness that only she manages to build. The repertoire included Paraguayan, Latin American and other music that delighted those present.

The honored group took a plaque delivered by Mr. Elzear Salemma together with the proceeds from the entry fee. One detail that should be corrected in the way of honoring would be to avoid making the delivery of the envelope public, taking into account the phrase “what your right hand gives that the left does not know about”.
Tributes are good because all recognition of the trajectory, creativity and contribution to culture and the country are an injection of energy in a society that is often generous with insults, disqualifications but very stingy with praise.
That is why vigorously putting into practice “in life brother, in life” has its meaning and value in events such as the one that honored the Trio San Valentín this Thursday on the last day of June.
