Arajet presents its team of safety experts to the IDAC

The new low-priced Dominican airline, Arajet, presented the interim director of the Dominican Institute of Civil Aviation (IDAC), Héctor Porcella, his operational security team made up of important experts, with a vast international career in the management of aviation security processes.

Victor Pacheco Mendezexecutive president of Arajet, explained that the airline is preparing hard to connect the country with other markets, through quality management that guarantees the highest safety of its passengers and operations.

“We are assuming responsibility for the rebirth of Dominican aviation with a team of highly qualified international collaborators, to guarantee that our operations meet the highest safety standards of the global aviation industry, while giving the best and most complete maintenance to our new and modern aircraft”, stated Pacheco Méndez.

The safety team includes John Allen, chair of the Safety Review Board; Garret Malone, Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Alan Arias, Director of Operations.

The three, aviation executives with the highest experience in aviation security, and those assigned by the Dominican-flagged airline for the safety and tranquility of all its flights throughout the Americas.

They indicated that Jonn Allen is a specialist in aviation, security, safety and quality management systems and who was director of flight standards for the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

He is also responsible for leading the growth and effectiveness of safe operations programs both in the air and on the ground.

Likewise, Garrett Malonehas valuable experience in the area of ​​operations and in the principles of Low Cost in Europe.

In Latin America, he has served as vice president of operations and maintenance, assuming responsibility and being a fundamental pillar in the process of transforming Low Cost airlines in the region.

Similarly, Alan Arias, Dominican Aviator Pilot, with extensive training and professional experience who has served as director of IDAC flight standards.

Likewise, he has been in charge of the operations department, in charge of the airline transport division and inspector of air operations.

Arajet, together with the appointment of this team of experts, ratifies its commitment to the safety of all its passengers and flights with the operation of new and modern Boeing 737 MAX aircraft of the latest generation, highly efficient, which allow it to meet the requirements of a market increasingly modern aeronautical sector demanding safety and comfort.
