Constituent Social Movements (MSC) -collective to which the president of the Constitutional Convention belongs, Maria Elisa Quinteros– called for a peaceful march towards the former National Congress for July 4, the day on which the closing ceremony of the drafting body will take place.
“We are going to convene on Monday at 9 in the morning on the hill to be able to celebrate this milestone together and accompany us, walking together, to Congress, so that we can give rise to the delivery ceremony of the new Constitution to the President of the Republic”, indicated the conventional Elisa Giustinianovich (MSC) to Cooperative Radio.
“A peaceful walk is being called, and there should be no risk, because the calls we have from Social Movements are peaceful, joyful, a meeting space,” added the constituent.
At the closing ceremony, the Convention will deliver the constitutional text to the President Gabriel Boric.
Let us remember that the exit plebiscite of the draft of the new Constitution will be held on September 4.
