He assured that the opposition party has a great fear because through the initiative the ill-gotten assets could be recovered.
“The fundamental fact for which the approval of the Domain Extinction Law has been stopped is because the PLD is very afraid of it, I want a response today from the campaign that the PLD has unleashed against the approval of this law, because the problem the fear that he has of this law that allows the confiscation of assets obtained by corruption and organized crime, that is the fundamental fact for which the PLD has been boycotting the piece,” he said.
He added that “it is the fear that this law is enacted and could be an important instrument for the recovery of public heritage assets.”

He affirmed that “the PLD spokesman in the Senate is threatening businessmen with the figure of tax avoidance so that they withdraw support for the project, therefore they, as businessmen, know that the figure of avoidance is not criminalized anywhere. of Dominican legislation, tax avoidance does not exist in Dominican criminal law nor in any regulation of the tax administration, we legislators cannot be irresponsible and violate legislative techniques”.
He considered that the majority of the senators or the deputies will not lend themselves to the boycott of the PLD supporters. “Most of the senators and most of the representatives are not going to commit such a blunder,” he maintained.
