The Single Telecommunications Union (Sutel) will present an appeal this Wednesday against the decision of the Ministry of Industry to allow five cable operators to sell internet, as indicated by the union in a statement.
This appeal will be presented in two instances: one before the Contentious-Administrative Court and the other before the Presidency. In the case of the latter, the delivery will be made in the Executive Tower.
According to what was said by the president of Sutel, Gabriel Molina, in conversation with The Observer, the objective is “to resort to the decision of the Executive Power” in order to “protect the national heritage” represented in “an investment of more than US$ 850 million.” “We are defending the human rights of access to these services, which are considered basic,” he added.
The presentation of these documents, which have already been drafted, will be presented around 11 am.
