The president of the People’s Force (FP), Leonel Fernandezdeposited this Tuesday in the Central Electoral Board (JCE), the new register of the political organization, with 1,094,082 militants.
The padrón delivered by the People’s Force reflects that the majority of its militants are women, 548,846, for 50.16 percent, while men are 545,236 for 49.84%.
Fernández was accompanied by a large delegation from the Directorate of the FP, reported that this is “An audited and auditable register.”
He also said that, more than a registry of affiliates, the party has already been organically structured in some 53,507 Base Directorates (DB) throughout the country and abroad, some 3,250 Medium Directorates (DM).
The People’s Force is consolidated as the main opposition party in the country, as it is the only one that shows evidence of tangible and verifiable growth.
Since the last report submitted to the JCE On December 15, 2021, with some 648,753 affiliated members, the FP increased its register by 59.30%, some 445,329 new members, as a result of the so-called “Boschist Days” of affiliation, which it develops throughout the country and abroad, the Secretariat of Organization of VET.
The leader of the opposition, Leonel Fernández, was received by the Plenary of the JCE, headed by its president Román Jáquez, who after stating the importance for democracy of strengthening political parties, greeted the visit and said that the doors of the Central Electoral Board “are always open.”
