The justice of the Ortega regime sent Francisco Ramón Flores Donaire, 39, a former police captain, accused of intentional homicide of doctor Jorge Ernesto Herrera, to trial, revealed the The Press newspaper. The doctor died on the morning of June 16 on Carretera a Masaya when the vehicle he was driving was hit by the ex-policeman.
The accused was driving at excessive speed and under the influence of alcohol. On May 27, 2022, Herrera received the title of orthopedist, a specialty that the doctor studied at the National Autonomous University of Nicaragua (UNAN-Managua). He worked at the Sermesa Hospital in Masaya.
