Two months later, on September 4, the exit plebiscite will be held, at which time the citizens will decide between the options of Approval and Rejection of the proposed new Constitution.
in conversation with CNNChilethe senator of the Christian Democracy, Ximena Rincón, referred to the issue, advancing that she has not yet decided whether she will vote Approve or Reject in the exit plebiscite.
“I have not decided my vote. There are a few days left for the text to be known. I always said it, once the text is known, I will set my position without any difference from what my history has been,” he said.
“I am going to say what I think and how I am going to vote once the text is delivered out of respect for the Convention. It seems to me that it corresponds. I have not gotten ahead of myself. I have put points on the table regarding things that I like and things that concern me, but I will make my vote known after 4”, he added.
Along the same lines, Rincón pointed out that “I believe that out of responsibility, one has to speak with the text in hand and explain what this means. Within the text, and this is important, there is the history of the law, that is part of the text also for the defense of the rights that are consecrated there and the actions that are contained”.
“I believe that the most important thing in this text is how rights are guaranteed, democracy, how the structure is established, not only of power, but of rights, and if there is unity, equality, if democracy is guaranteed or not. with this text”, he concluded.
