The Industry Confidence Index (ICI), measured by the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV), grew 1.5 points from May to June. This is the third consecutive rise for the indicator, which reached 101.2 points on a scale of 0 to 200 points, the highest level since November 2021 (102.1 points).
Thirteen of the 19 segments of the Brazilian industry analyzed by the survey showed an increase in confidence in June, compared to May.

The Present Situation Index, which measures the confidence of industrial entrepreneurs in the present, grew by 1.9 points and reached 102.3 points. The best performance occurred in satisfaction with the level of demand for industrial products.
The Expectations Index, which measures confidence in the future, rose 1.2 points and reached 100.2 points, mainly due to the performance of the optimism component with the evolution of physical production in the following three months.
