Cuba identified 28 infections of the SARS-CoV-2 virus on Saturday, June 25, a day in which no COVID-19 patients were registered in intensive care rooms, according to the part issued today the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP).
23,541 samples were processed and, of the positive ones, 28 were contacts of confirmed cases; in one individual the cause of the infection was not specified and four were imported.
Havana (10) was the one that reported the most cases. It is also the only one with more than four cases on the day, among the 11 territories (including the Isla de la Juventud Special Municipality) that reported infections this day.

By age, those under 20 years old added 14 cases, in the group between 20 and 39 six were registered, three correspond to people between 40 and 50 while those over 60 closed with five patients.
According to the MINSAP, 19 clinical discharges were notified and the number of people admitted as a result of COVID-19 was 273; 121 were confirmed active cases.
The pandemic has left 8,529 deaths on the Island since March 2020.
