The Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM) met with more than 5,000 civil society organizations, with the aim of strengthening relations between citizens and the ruling party.
The PRM held meetings in 158 municipalities and 235 municipal districts in a broad territorial deployment of their leaders throughout the country during the weekends of November 26-28 and December 3-5.
Through a statement, the political organization indicated that the organized citizen consultations are intended to listen to their different approaches and concerns and transfer them to the government to strengthen the bond with society every day.
The meetings were held with community leaders, churches, trade unions, housewives, business associations, neighborhood associations and civil society organizations.
The representatives of these organizations expressed their views on government management and contributed ideas for the construction of solutions to the problems of national life.
In the same vein, yesterday a meeting was held at the Hotel Barceló to receive the report of the consultations.
The activity was led by the PRM general secretary, Carolina Mejía and Eduardo Sanz Lovatón, national secretary of Finance and who served as commissioner of the capital.
“Of all the activities, since August 16 of last year, I do not remember any that fill me with as much satisfaction as the work of this team that has just delivered the consultations made to community organizations and civil society,” he said. Mejía.
