The National Directorate of Student Affairs of the Ministry of Education (Meduca), informed the 16 educational regions of the country that all sports and cultural activities in educational centers are postponed.
The circular addressed to the general directors, regional directors and sports and culture links details that the decision is due to the containment of public spending.
The note that bears the signature of the national director of Student Affairs, Kennedy Vargas, indicates that the measure will be maintained until receiving higher education.
For this 2022, the Meduca has a budget of $2,623,676,795, of which $2,171,214,205 correspond to operation and $452,462,590 for investment.
