Conexión Norte joins the other three connectivity projects that are being developed in Antioquia: Pacífico 2, Vías del Nus and Mar 1. Likewise, With this new delivery, nine 4G road corridors are completed in Colombia.
The Conexión Norte highway is 145 kilometers long and was built with the aim of connect the southwest and center of the country directly with the ports of Cartagena and Barranquilla through Puerto Berrío.

With a construction investment of $1.58 billion, this project built 58 kilometers of new road between Remedios and Zaragoza, improved 82 km of the existing roadway between Zaragoza and Caucasia and a variant in the latter municipality, including two intersections with a difference in level and one at level In addition, the construction of 30 vehicular bridges and the improvement of five more.

These works, in addition to generating nearly 7,400 jobs, benefit more than 790,000 inhabitants of the municipalities of Remedios, Segovia, Zaragoza and Caucasia.
