This Friday, June 24, around 64 people were apprehended in different provinces at the national level, Operation Junquito was carried out with the National Police in conjunction with the Public Ministry.
In this operation, which is still being carried out, two alleged murderers have been apprehended, ten people related to criminal acts of robbery, theft and fraud, three of them for crimes involving psychoactive substances, two for smuggling of migrants and illicit possession of Firearms.
During this operation, 14 people have been placed under judicial order to be investigated for crimes against the Legal Order, family and Civil Status, in addition to six for personal injuries and six against the Public Administration and the Administration of Justice.
In this same operation, bags containing dry grass and white powder of alleged narcotic substances, technological equipment, cash, ammunition, two firearms and a replica of a weapon were confiscated.
Likewise, the authorities have been able to recover vehicles that maintain complaints of theft in Costa Rica, this operational action is related to the prevention and control of violence and crime in the national territory.
