Legislators who voted in favor of dismiss the constitutional complaint against Manuel Merino They were Alejandro Cavero (Avanza País), Ernesto Bustamante (Popular Force), Hernando Guerra García (Popular Force), Alejandro Muñante (Popular Renovation), Wilson Soto (Popular Action), Martha Moyano (Popular Force), in addition to the casting vote of Rosio Torres (Alliance for Progress).
On the other hand, Jorge Flores (Popular Action), Paúl Gutiérrez Ticona (Teachers’ Block), José Jerí (Somos Perú), Alfredo Pariona (Free Peru), Segundo Quiroz (Teachers’ Block), Reymundo Mercado (Democratic Change) and Elizabeth Taipe ( Peru Libre) voted against Cavero’s report. While María Acuña (Alliance for Progress) abstained.
