The district administration announced some changes one day before the deadline to pay with a discount from the 10% property and vehicle tax. In this case, the changes would be in the terms and dates to make the payment without discount.

The corrections are given for some cases in which they have not been able to issue invoices.
To pay property and vehicle tax, the new term with a 10% discount for property taxes is until July 15 and for vehicles until August 12. Without discount, the new dates are: July 29 for predial, and August 26 for vehicles.
It is important to remember that this is not the first toextension of dates to make payments. According to the Secretary of the Treasury, Juan Mauricio Ramírez, it is not due to failures of the platform but to incomplete information that does not allow the invoices to be issued.
He also said that the decision was made so that the vast majority of Bogota citizens can qualify for the payment of these taxes with the discount. “Our greatest commitment and goal is to help everyone who wants to pay with the 10% discount, that’s why we decided to extend the deadlinesRamirez explained.
So far, Bogotá has received more than 2.5 billion pesos for property taxes and the total collection is about above 5.7 billion pesos.
The entity also clarified that the system will begin to change the dates and this process will end on Saturday, June 25. It is important that whoever gets the
bills today and tomorrow know that these can only be paid in a
in person at authorized banks or by PSE and that, as of Tuesday, 28
of June, you will be able to do it on the website of your banks.
