Villarreal strengthens its lead with José Luis Morales

Villarreal announced this Friday the signing of striker José Luis Morales, from Levante for the next two seasons.

“Villarreal and José Luis Morales have reached an agreement whereby the footballer will wear the yellow shirt until 2024,” the club coached by Unai Emery said in a statement.

Morales, who finished his contract this season with the recently relegated Levante, arrives free to his new team.

The landing of ‘comandante’ Morales will contribute “overflow and speed” to the attack of the ‘Yellow Submarine’ for the next campaign.

Morales, 35, scored 13 goals in 36 league games during the season that just ended.
