Since I was a child
He grew up in a family nucleus in which he received the support of his parents and his two older brothers, with unity as the fundamental basis for coexistence.
Since she was little, María José already showed her talent for painting. “I remember having the desire to paint and grow up drawing in my notebooks,” says the artist.
However, it was not until he was 21 that he decided to go buy his first canvases to start experimenting with his first creations.

Upon leaving school, María José followed her vocation and studied Dentistry. She graduated and years later she obtained a postgraduate degree in Orthodontics.
With the passing of time, the artist began to paint more frequently. The works he created not only served as pleasing visual material, but were the closest source for channeling his emotions through the medium. Brush.
The effects caused by the pandemic showed María José another perspective of the direction for her life. It was so, through her social networks, she began to show her talent.
It was in 2020 when opportunities in art appeared for the Santa Cruz woman at the Alternative Gallery Christmas Collective Fair in La Paz. In 2021 she participated in three individual exhibitions at the CBA and in a show at Fexpocruz the same year. In 2022, the doors of the Nomad hostel were opened to her, she was also part of the Long Night of Museums and for Mother’s Day she participated in a Showroom at the Santa Cruz Tennis Club. María José currently represents Bolivia at Expo Dubai 2020 and has received an invitation to paint in New York on June 29.

At times, when her ideas mix, the artist resorts to improvising on the piano to clear her mind and resume the creative process.
His hobbies
In her spare time, María José exercises her body on the tube, practices sports pool dance and also enjoys playing the piano on a daily basis.
