China’s first ambassador to Nicaragua, Chenxiarrived in the country this day, after the reestablishment of relations between the two countries in December 2021. The diplomat was received at the airport by the son of the dictatorial couple Laureano Ortega Murillo, appointed to the position of presidential advisor for investments.
Upon his arrival, Chen Xi stated that his nation values ”highly” that the Nicaraguan authorities recognize that there is only “one China and that Taiwan is a province.” According to the ambassador, the administration of Daniel Ortega made a “strategic and historic” decision that favors bilateral cooperation in international affairs.

This June 22 marks the fourth anniversary of the bloody operation ordered by the Ortega-Murillo regime to dissolve the 2018 protests, which left around a hundred murdered in the country.
The so-called “Operation Cleanup” was perpetrated by paramilitaries, police, members of the Army and the Sandinista Youth (JS) who attacked the population that was, mainly, at the barricades; crimes that continue in impunity, document various organizations.
They also commemorate nine years of the attack against the elderly who took over the headquarters of the Social Security Institute (INSS) for their right to a reduced old-age pension, who were supported by young people who decided to camp on the outskirts.
The protest known as “Occupy INSS” was repressed by the Police and peat bogs who arrived with the order to evict them.
The illegitimate president, Daniel Ortega, will receive 200 million dollars from the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI), the main financial institution that has oxygenated the dictatorship since the international sanctions.
Ortega authorized signing the millionaire loan with the bank for the so-called “Temporary Support Program for the Fuel Crisis in Nicaragua” that helps keep prices frozen in the country. According to Ortega, the State disburses up to 6 million dollars a week to freeze the cost of fuel and gas for cooking.
For his part, Rubén Arriola, from the Consumer Manager Consultancy, explained to Article 66 that the decision of the Executive is “does not touch in depth the situation of hydrocarbons”

The Police occupied the facilities of the Children’s Association of Working Boys and Girls “Tuktan Sirpi” and the Education and Communication Association “La Cuculmeca”, located in Jinotega, two weeks after being stripped of their legal status. The attack also forced the closure of the Radio Stereo Libre station, which since 2005 had worked in alliance with the NGO Tuktan Sirpi.

The citizen Martha Candelaria Rivas Hernández was arrested this Wednesday by the Police and accused by the Public Ministry for the alleged crime of “false testimony”, after the woman retracted the accusation she made before the official media against the priest Manuel García Rodríguez, parish priest of Nandaime, of alleged assault.
At first, Rivas Hernández declared before the media that the Nandaime priest hit her with a padlock after an argument they had on the night of May 30 at the Jesus of Nazarene Church, which is presided over by the priest. However, days later the woman retracted and said that it was all an “accident”, which is why she did not sign the complaint.
Dr. Olga Chávez, mother of the orthopedist Jorge Ernesto Herrera Chavez, who died in a traffic accident, hopes that the judicial process against the person responsible for the tragedy “does not deviate from its course.” In statements to Article 66the mother of the victim stated that, at the moment, the process is being carried out “within the framework of justice”, and will maintain her demand until she obtains the expected results.
In the dock of the accused is the policeman Francisco Ramon Flores Donaire, 39, who, according to witnesses, was driving drunk and speeding at the time of the accident. In addition, he had a firearm with him. The officer is under preventive detention for the crimes of homicide and exposure of people.
