The Israeli embassy in Paraguay denounced that the crew members of the Venezuelan-Iranian plane are involved in arms trafficking.
The statement reports that the plane belongs to an airline sanctioned by the United States. It was also recently used by the Quds forces on the route between Tehran and Damascus. The embassy, too, involves the crew with the Hezbollah group.
“Israel is especially concerned about the activity of the Iranian airline companies Mahan Air and Qeshm Fars Air in Latin America, companies that are involved in trafficking arms, equipment and people for the Quds Forces and that are under US sanctions for their involvement. with terrorism and the proliferation of weapons”, reads part of the document.
