Erroneous information from Felipe Kast about the draft of the new Constitution: deputy Ibáñez issues an official letter to the Servel and Comptroller

Deputy Diego Ibanez (CS) presented this Wednesday an official letter before the Electoral Service (Servel) and Comptroller to clarify details about a propaganda of the senator Philip Kast (Evópoli) on a radio station in Temuco, where it broadcasts a fake news on the draft of the new Constitution.

“The Constitutional Convention allows abortion up to nine months of pregnancy. It not only violates Human Rights (…) we would be the only country that promotes and allows an abortion up to nine months of pregnancy,” Kast said in the propaganda broadcast in Radio Mirador FM.

In the official letter, the deputy Ibáñez asked the Servel to know the amounts and origin of the financing of the radio ad, slogan the bewilderment. He also asked if the broadcast of this propaganda is allowed, considering that the electoral campaign period begins on July 4.

It also requested the Comptroller to carry out the corresponding audits to establish whether the notice is in order or not.
