ABI / La Paz

The Vice Minister of Small and Microenterprise, Nelson Aruquipa, reported this Saturday that public officials through the mobile wallet enabled for the snack voucher, will be able to access a variety of national products, offered by at least 500 Bolivian companies.

“We have more than 500 companies, but this data is very dynamic because it is growing steadily and we hope to reach 2,500 production units in this management,” said Aruquipa.

The vice minister explained that the application “Consume lo Nuestro” is already in effect with its available balances for public servants to carry out their transactions.

He said that micro, small businessmen and artisans are still being called to register to offer their national products and thus boost the economy.

According to the authority, on a monthly basis it is expected to mobilize more than Bs 20 million, which correspond to the refreshment bonus for public officials at the central level and decentralized companies.

On May 27 of this year, the Government promulgated Supreme Decree 4513, which provides that the refreshment voucher is granted to public servants, and that it is intended for the purchase of national products through an application for smart devices.
