ICESP rose 5.16 pp in the first half of 2022

According to the Private Higher Education Cost Index -ICESP-, prepared by the National Administrative Department of Statistics (Dane)in the first half of 2022 compared to the second of 2021, the half-year variation was 6.41%.

Rate that was 5.16 percentage points higher than that registered in the second half of the previous year, of 1.25%.

The group of costs with the greatest variation was that of personnel expenses, which registered a variation of 6.43%, higher by 5.32 percentage points compared to that observed in the second half of 2021 (1.11%).

Regarding the purchase of goods and services, a six-monthly variation of 6.38% was registered, with a difference of 4.79 percentage points compared to the second half of 2021 (1.58%).

The largest contribution corresponded to the personnel expenses group with 4.51pp.
