The Ministry of Finance said that At the end of last May, the debt of the Central National Government reached $753.40 billion, which represents 57.2% of the gross domestic product (GDP).

The participation of the internal debt in the total is 62.9% and the external one represents 37.1%shows a report of the Treasury portfolio.
Of the total figure, internal obligations totaled $466.79 billion and external obligations $286.60 billion.
In dollar terms, the total amount of the CNG loans amounted to US$192,571 million in the fifth month of the year.
Practically all of the domestic debt ($466 billion) is contracted at a fixed interest rate (only a small part that does not represent even 0.1% is at a variable rate) and of the external debt, 94.8% of the total credits are contracted at a fixed interest rate and the remaining 5.2% are established at a variable rate.
The profile of amortizations in pesos for this year shows, according to the Ministry of Finance, that the figure amounts to $59.84 billion, and in terms of debt in dollars, it reaches up to US$15,322 million.
The average coupon of the debt in dollars is 4.1% and in pesos it is 9.3%.
