MIAMI, United States. – A plane with 126 people on board, from the Dominican Republic, caught fire after the collapse of its landing gear this Tuesday at Miami International Airport, according to reports local media.
According to Greg Chinspokesman for the County Aviation Department Miami-Dade, three of the 126 people on board the aircraft suffered minor injuries and were taken to hospitals.

According to the FlightAware websitethe plane in question left Punta Caucedo, in the Dominican Republic, at 3:36 in the afternoon, and landed at 5:38 pm in Miami, 42 minutes late.
During the landing, the aircraft left the runway and collided with several objects, before ending up on an unpaved area of the runway, the local channel specified. Telemundo 51.
Immediately after the fire started, about two dozen Miami-Dade Fire Department units responded to the scene. Firefighters then used white foam to extinguish the fire.
In the image captured by a security camera near Northwest 57th Avenue and published by site 10a plume of dark smoke can be seen coming from the airport runway shortly after 5:45 p.m.
