They indicated that Supérate must understand what the composition of the Dominican household is, since in four out of ten employment is informal, a figure that is a little better than the regional average, which is five out of tenbut it is still a challenge.
They specified that the impact of Covid on the vulnerable population could have been stronger without these social programs.

The OECD specialists stated that the country, like all of Latin America must work in space fiscal, since tax collection has room for improvement.
Likewise, it recommends focusing a lot on the quality of spending and being more efficient with the resources you have. “Just as important is raising more, as you spend better,” said Vázquez.
Both specialists yesterday presented the study “Latin American Economic Outlook (LEO) 2021: Moving together towards a better recovery.”
“It is not only about having more taxes, which can be detrimental to economic recovery, but also about collecting more for the fight against tax evasion and avoidance or some incentives that can be rethought so that it has a greater impact, and from there have recourse necessary to finance policies,” he said.
He recommended discussing which incentives help create jobs and generate economic growth and those that have no impact, to redefine or redesign these.
