PAN deputies in NL propose to apply revocation of mandate to Samuel García

NL Prosecutor: “Samuel García uses victims in the media; he does not respect his pain”

With said decree, it was established that the revocation of the mandate will enter into force in Nuevo León as of October 5, 2025 and will be applicable to the next head of the state Executive.

“This seriously affects the rights of the citizens of this entity, who are restricted from the right to decide and request early termination in the performance of the position of the current acting governor,” said the PAN deputies.

What the PAN members are looking for is a reform similar to the one that allowed the current President of the Republic, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, to be submitted to the revocation consultation, where he obtained a favorable result.

Faced with the proposal, Governor García Sepúlveda said that “he who does not get in the way helps a lot.”

“Every day from three in the morning on the issue of water, then, I think it is fair to say that those who do not get in the way help a lot, if they are not going to help with the water today, everything they do is secondary, no one peels them,” the president told the media.

A survey appears on the official Twitter account of the local PAN deputies asking citizens if it is time to apply the revocation to García, who began in office in 2021.

“Due to the water crisis, insecurity and lack of results in general of the current Government of Nuevo León, would you apply the revocation of the mandate?” That is the question in the social network of PAN deputies.
