The ex-president Mauricio Macri participated this Tuesday via Zoom in a regional meeting of Together for Change (JxC) and expressed his desire that the opposition alliance return to the Government in 2023, warning: “We are the change or we are nothing.”
At the opening of North Regional Meeting of the Pensar FoundationMacri called on the opposition leaders to “learn that we cannot return because we want to return to power, but we must put Argentina on the right course.”
The former president was in charge of opening the meeting, which was attended by the provinces of Jujuy, Tucumán, Catamarca and Santiago del Estero.
“We are the change or we are nothing”said and pointed out that the Front of All (FdT) It is made up of a group of people who came together “without an idea, without a project, just to return to power and retain privileges. We have to do the opposite,” he said, as reported in a statement.
In line with the proposals, he added: “We do not have a future if we have educational leaders who say that they do not want to prepare children for the company and that they do not want to evaluate themselves,” he stated.
He also stressed the importance of security and the law: “We have to put drug trafficking back in decline and we need judges who have the courage not only to fight against organized crime otherwise uphold the law in general that includes property rights”.
Expressing his desire for JxC to return to power in 2023, Macri pointed out that “there is a year ahead to consolidate the ideas and the teams, taking advantage of people who have experience and adding new blood that is going to come in”.
The Pensar Foundation will continue its activities this Wednesday with technical teams from the north under the slogan “Reflections for human development plans,” with more than 100 guests including experts, social and political leaders, businessmen and academics.
Last April, the NEA regional meeting was held in Corrientes, where the technical teams worked on productive development and innovation plans with the participation of the provinces of Entre Ríos, Misiones, Chaco and Formosa.
