Vacancies remain without specialists
Zoé Robledo also presented this Tuesday the advances in the National Day of Recruitment of Medical Specialists, in which 14,323 vacancies were offered, of which only 41% of the applicants attended their appointment and are already in the second stage of the process.
“In 11 days there were 10,920 doctors who registered on the platform, on June 4, 40 receiving tables were installed, 4,494 doctors attended these tables, 41% of the total of those who had registered,” he reported.
These doctors who attended the appointment have already been accredited for the next stage of the process, which will be the first round of hiring according to their first choice of institution and specialty.
Robledo announced that the first round of contracts could take place on July 1, and those who do not make it, two more rounds will come. “We want the process to bring together the largest number of specialists,” he said.
The official also mentioned that, on the contrary, 11,128 vacancies offered do not have any accredited specialist, or someone was interested, but did not attend their appointment.
