Seven people were injured after an explosion that occurred in a kiosk located on Los Angeles Street, adjacent to the El Sambil Shopping Center, Chacao, Miranda.
The incident occurred on Monday afternoon due to the accumulation of gases from a defective LPG cylinder which exploded, causing a fire in the “Todo a Dollar” premises, according to initial investigations.
The site was attended by 20 agents of the Fire Department of the Capital District who controlled the calls and helped the injured.
The injured suffered third-degree burns in various parts of the body and were taken to the Domingo Luciani hospital located in El Llanito, Sucre municipality (Miranda).
Among the injured are Yenny Marcano (37), Johandry Contreras (18), Alexis Marcano (34), Adrián Briceño (23), Loicet Liscano (18).
