The General Directorate of Government Accounting (Digecog) inaugurated a new system for the implementation of regulations adjusted to the high international quality standards, which will strengthen the adequate registration of accounting transactions of state institutions.
During the presentation ceremony of the new system, Felix Santana Garciahead of Digecog, said that the new System for the Implementation of Accounting Regulations (Sinoc), will help the financial personnel of public sector institutions to have the necessary knowledge regarding the current regulations, policies and procedures in international public accounting.
The official stressed that Digecog intends to continue launching new productsto facilitate and make the work of the executing accounting units of the public sector more efficient.

The official said that without the treasury resources It would be impossible to execute current expenses or long-term investments and that, therefore, in this reality lies the importance of Digecog in the proper registration of the economic and financial transactionsto publicize the correct use of State money.
Sinoc is an automated strategy created by Digecog, in order to manage and control training and advice on accounting regulations, aimed at employees in the financial areas of public institutions.

With the implementation of SINOC, the training of loose topics will be passed, to the training from start to finish, in a modular/thematic program, guided by a training curriculumaligned with the current regulatory documentation to which public institutions must adhere.
The general director of Digecog stated that this institution intends to continue launching new products to facilitate and make the work of the executing accounting units of the public sector more efficient.
