Through a tweet, the Control Commission reported that he accepted the request of the head of state, so the appointment was rescheduled for the Monday June 27. The meeting was initially scheduled for this Tuesday, June 21.

In statements to Successful, the Chairman of the Supervisory Committee, Hector Venturaasserted that there would be sufficient elements of conviction to confirm the participation of Pedro Castillo in alleged acts of corruption during his government.
“In the Control Commission, we have carried out investigative acts related to the irregular acts due to the promotion in the Police, the Armed Forces, the tenders won in the MTC, the case of the Tarata Bridge.
