The general secretary of the organization Movement Toward Socialism (MAS)Felipe Mujica, referred this Monday to the speech of the newly elected president of Colombia, Gustavo Petro, who called for reconciliation and the meeting of the society of said country.
In this sense, Mujica wished all “the success of the world” to which he added that he hopes that this new stage in Colombian politics “allows relations with Venezuela to improve and we can continue meeting.”

The leader of the orange awning highlighted the use of voting as a method of political change.
“Any number of changes have been generated in Latin America, Colombia was the only country where this had not happened, we are talking about countries like Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, Argentina, Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, Mexico, Honduras, Chile and even the United States. Likewise, he pointed out that from the orange awning they consider “highly positive” that from the current president of the Colombian Republic, Iván Duque, through the losing candidate Rodolfo Hernández and a group of important political leaders, including Álvaro Uribe Vélez, “recognized that Petro had won, which is a reality and that Colombia has to prepare for its electoral result.”
