The Technical Secretariat of the Investment Fund for Territorial Development (FIDT), in charge of the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), published the list of winning proposals for the FIDT 2022 Contest, which includes a total of 195 initiatives that will receive the amount of S/319,042,680.
Of the total number of winners, 123 proposals (66 studies and 57 investments) obtained 100% financing for more than S/ 230.1 million; while 72 proposals (50 studies and 22 investments), obtained co-financing between 80% and 95% for more than S/ 88.8 million.
It is worth mentioning that the FIDT 2022 Contest has the objective of financing or co-financing projects and pre-investment studies of regional and local governments that contribute to optimizing the provision of basic services of education, health, sanitation, telecommunications and electrification, as well as, improve the road, productive and agricultural infrastructure, with the aim of contributing to the reduction of poverty and extreme poverty in the country.

Likewise, the support of the FIDT 2022 Contest to subnational governments doubles the resources granted in 2019. In the months prior to the contest, the MEF trained more than 9,000 Invierte.pe operators, which significantly improved the quality of the proposals presented. and with it the admissibility of these.

The services that obtained the largest number of proposals benefited were basic education (90 proposals for S/ 280.5 million); sanitation (30 proposals for S/ 63.8 million); road infrastructure (15 proposals for S/ 25.9); and, agricultural infrastructure (40 proposals for S/ 18 million).

At the level of Regional Governments (GR), the winners were the GR of Madre de Dios; Huánuco GR; GR of Huancavelica; and, GR de Junín, all of them for a total amount of S/ 4 million.
Likewise, the Local Governments that obtained the greatest financing or co-financing were those located in the departments of Ayacucho with S/ 102 million (31.98%); Cusco with S/ 40.2 million (12.60%); Apurímac, with S/ 29 million (9.12%); and Huánuco with S/ 25.6 million (8.04%). Among which are departments with high levels of poverty, according to the National Institute of Statistics and Informatics (INEI).
