"I will not work with the next government, as clear as that"assures the ambassador Juan Carlos Pinzón

The Colombian ambassador to the United States, Juan Carlos Pinzon, He decided to resign from his position as of August 7, hours after Gustavo Petro was elected as the new President of the Republic, in the second round elections on June 19.

Pinzón acknowledged, in dialogue with RCN World, that his resignation means that he will not be part of the new Government of Petrobeing faithful to the principles that he has always defended throughout his life.

“This letter is a declaration of achievements and principles and means that I will not work with the next administration, as clear as that”, Pinzon pointed out.
