The installation of the Permanent Commission of the Indigenous Parliament of the National Assembly was carried out this Friday, with the purpose of forming the new board of directors and the presentation of a report by the deputy, Noeli Pocaterradetailing the progress and revival of the aforementioned instance.
This was stated by the president of the Indigenous Parliament of America (PIA) and deputy, Kariela Arayin the city of Caracas.
He also stated that the report of the binational meeting between Nicaragua and Venezuela was made. “We are taking the truth of our country to the entire continent and the world, as requested by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.”
Similarly, the parliamentarian pointed out that the indigenous peoples in the Bolivarian nation continue to strengthen themselves, who assume the banner of unity for the consolidation of all the spaces of claim, “of the more than 40 indigenous peoples who make lives in the country.”
