Through an official statement, the Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela appreciates the hospitality extended to President Nicolás Maduro on the occasion of the working visit to the city of Baku within the framework of the Eurasian tour carried out by the Head of State.
The letter highlights the great achievements that contribute directly to the deepening of bilateral relations and cooperation between the two nations, “which today are 27 years old, this being the third time that the Venezuelan president touches Azerbaijani land.”
Likewise, the statement refers that “the presidents agreed on the need to join efforts to increase the rapprochement between the two peoples and move forward with firm steps in the establishment of a win-win cooperation for the benefit of the two countries, and work together to bring positions and actions that contribute to the creation of a fairer, more equitable, supportive, multicentric and multipolar world”.

The Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela appreciates the hospitality extended by the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the occasion of the working visit of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, to the city of Baku, held on 16 and June 17 of the currents.
This visit produced great achievements that directly contribute to the deepening of bilateral relations and cooperation between the two nations, which today are 27 years old, this being the third time that the Venezuelan president touches Azerbaijani land.
The leaders of Venezuela and Azerbaijan agreed to form the Mixed Commission and the opening of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Caracas, as well as manage the signing of the Agreements on cooperation, agriculture, oil, science and technology, tourism, transportation and education. President Nicolás Maduro thanked his counterpart Ilham Aliyev for the noble gesture of offering scholarships to Venezuelan students to study in the Caucasian nation, while offering to incorporate Azerbaijani students within the framework of the scholarship program for international students in the Republic Bolivariana de Venezuela, in charge of the Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho Foundation.
Similarly, President Nicolás Maduro confirmed the participation of Venezuela in the Second Meeting of the Parliamentary Network of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM), which will be held in Baku on June 30 and July 1, 2022. It should be noted that Venezuela and Azerbaijan are part of the troika, this being a very important space for agreeing on positions within the framework of strengthening this relevant multilateral mechanism.
The presidents agreed on the need to join forces to increase rapprochement between the two peoples and move forward with firm steps in establishing a win-win cooperation for the benefit of both countries, and work together to bring positions and actions closer together that contribute to the conformation of a more just, equitable, supportive, multicentric and multipolar world.
