The soccer player from Peñarol Walter Gargano, one of those investigated by the aurinegra party on March 8, assured that he was denounced for crimes that he “never” committed, as he assured this Friday in a statement. He said that he will collaborate with the Justice during the investigation “for the sake of bringing the truth to light”.
“I have been criminally denounced for crimes that plain and simple I did not commit”wrote.
“Understand that I was reported for a criminal act that is very serious and that there are people who may be suffering from it, so any distorted message can inhibit victims from making the complaint,” he added in the letter.
Gargano testified before the Specialized Family judge Lilián Elhorriburu this Thursday, and after the hearing he is prohibited – like Lucas Viatri – from approaching and communicating with the two complainants, until December 30, 2022.
