The list of 30 sausage companies authorized by the Mayor’s Office of Santa Cruz de la Sierra for this San Juanwere announced this Friday, by the Secretary of Citizen Security and Supply at a press conference.
Ariel Lino, head of that municipal division, pointed out that these companies (some with more than one product brand) comply with the hygiene and health in the preparation of its products for human consumption, determined through laboratory analysis.
Lino announced controls during the next week -within the so-called San Juan Plan- to ensure that only these authorized products are sold in markets and other sales spaces. If there are other unauthorized the official announced that there will be confiscations and economic sanctions.
A team of 60 market supervisors, in addition to 30 collaborators, including veterinarians and health specialists of the Department of Consumer Protection, will be in charge of these controls, according to the report of the Secretary of Citizen Security and Supply.
