The Second Criminal Oral Trial Court (TOP) of Santiago sentenced this Friday to Alan Gallardo Vilches and the initial teenager PAVJ for the murder of Tamara Moyaa five-year-old girl who was killed by a bullet in the middle of a lock-up that occurred in the Huechuraba commune, Metropolitan region, in February 2021.
The court sentenced Gallardo to life imprisonment as the perpetrator of attempted crimes of robbery with homicide and robbery with intimidation; in addition to the completed crime of receiving a motorized vehicle.

In a unanimous decision, the court –composed of the magistrates Paul Toledo Gonzalez (President), Carlos Iturra Lizana Y Mauricio Rettig Espinoza (editor) – also applied to Gallardo the legal accessories of absolute perpetual disqualification from trades, public positions and political rights for the life of the convict and subjection to the surveillance of the authority for a period of five years.
Meanwhile, the court sentenced the adolescent PAVJ to 10 years of hospitalization in a closed regime with a social reintegration program, for his responsibility in the attempted crime of robbery with homicide, two crimes of receiving vehicles and two crimes of robbery with intimidation. Crimes perpetrated between February and March 2021.
The TOP confirmed, beyond any reasonable doubt, that at approximately 10:45 p.m. on February 28, 2021, on Pedro Fontova Avenue before reaching the roundabout with Carmen Avenue, in the Huechuraba district, “(…) the victim Camila Susana Almonacid Castro She was driving her vehicle in the company of her 5-year-old daughter, in the direction of her home, she was intercepted by the Hyundai Tucson vehicle in which the defendants were moving,” the ruling indicates.
