The decision is made “to guarantee social peace and benefit thousands of Panamanians who have been affected by the covid-19 pandemic,” Cortizo said during a tour in the Ngbe Buglé region.
The President of the Republic, Laurentino Cortizo, announced this Friday the extension of the Digital Voucher for six more months, until December 2022.
The decision is made “to guarantee social peace and benefit thousands of Panamanians who have been affected by the covid-19 pandemic,” Cortizo said during a tour in the Ngäbe Buglé region.
“I would like not to extend it, because not extending it means that people are not working, but we cannot stop reaching out to families in need,” he added.
Currently, those who receive this benefit must complete a ten-hour course from the National Institute of Professional Training and Training for Human Development (INADEH) or community work, administered by the community boards.
