USA. The Barber Grammy Awards 2022 awarded a trophy and a certificate to the Dominican entrepreneur based in New York, Erik Roberto, for being the first barber in the world to venture into Scalp Micropigmentation.
Upon receiving the awards, the so-called “micro artist” said he felt grateful for the distinction of recognizing his work, which he has done for more than a decade in the Big Apple.
“On behalf of all Dominicans, I appreciate this recognition, and I am happy to put our country on high,” said Erik Roberto upon receiving his trophy.

Erik Roberto, is a native of the city of San Pedro De Macoris in the Dominican Republic. Being an outstanding barber, he leaves the country 20 years ago for the capital of the world, New York, in 2007 he establishes Erik Barbershop one of the best barber shops in the city.
