Today continues the second day of interviews with the aspiring judges of the Supreme Court


The interviews are conducted at the Training and Investigation Center of the Investigation Attorney’s Office, Alma Montenegro de Fletcher, in order to guarantee transparency and citizen participation.

The Special Commission for the Evaluation of the State Pact for Justice began this Friday morning the second day of the interview process of the 95 candidates for magistrate and substitute of the Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice (CSJ).

In accordance with the provisions, it is planned to interview six applicants per day. The day began with the presence of Raúl Enrique Olmos Espino, then Jacob Alonso Orribarra and Isis Omaris Joseph Garzón will be interviewed.

For the afternoon session, the agenda includes interviews with Damarys Itzel Caballero Núñez, Darío Ernesto Solís García and Edgar Enrique López Santamaría.

The commission determined that for Saturday, June 18, only three candidates are scheduled to be interviewed and on Sunday, June 19, Father’s Day, there will be no sessions.

The interviews are conducted at the Training and Investigation Center of the Investigation Attorney’s Office, Alma Montenegro de Fletcher, in order to guarantee transparency and citizen participation.

In this process, the person who will replace the magistrate of the Criminal Chamber of the CSJ, José Ayú Prado and his substitute, whose term expires on December 31, 2022, is being sought.
