The Government increased the interest rates of the Now 12 program: how much were they left

Recently, the Government, through the Secretary of Domestic Trade, confirmed that the now 12 will remain in force; however, interest rates for purchases will be modified.

In this sense, from now on, the Annual Nominal Rate (TNA) for payments in 3, 6 and 12 fixed installments of the now 12 will be 42%, while those who make purchases in 18 and 24 fixed installments will represent 49%, according to the changes established to the program.

The program includes 30 items of products and services.

This adaptation responds to the growth that the program has had now 12 and, in view of its sustainability, according to the recent evolution of the Central Bank’s monetary policy rates of the Argentine Republic and the State policy of tending to the harmonization of interest rates” according to the Secretariat.
