131 cases of covid-19 were registered in Santa Cruz on the holiday

A total of 131 new positive cases of Covid-19 were registered this Thursday in ten municipalities of the department of Santa Cruzaccording to the report provided by el Departmental Health Service (Headquarters) of Santa Cruz.

The municipality of Santa Cruz de la Sierra registered 111 cases. The positivity for this Thursday was 11%, one of the highest in the last four months, according to Headquarters.

In addition, it was reported that 17 people are admitted to the intensive care units of different hospitals, of which 15 are attached to an artificial respirator.

64 people recovered from Covid-19. While they add up to more than six weeks without deaths from the coronavirus.

According to the report, 1,154 people received their respective dose of vaccine on this holiday. 74% of the population already has the first dose, 64% the second, and 15% only the third dose.
