Members of the PRSC Political Commission propose Eddy Alcántara be elected by consensus as president of the organization

Miembros Comisión Política PRSC proponen Alcántara sea presidente

SANTIAGO – Leaders of the Social Christian Reformist Party (PRSC) in this city, who are part of the Political Commission of that organization, asked that a consensus be sought to elect Dr. Eddy Alcántara as president of that entity in the next Ordinary National Assembly scheduled for next October.

They said that this election agreed by all the groups that interact within the reformism is the most convenient for the party “for the sake of its unity and relaunch.”

“That is the position and will of the majority of the reformist leaders in this province and throughout the country,” they said.

They explained that Alcántara guarantees the unity of the party, taking into account that many leaders and militants who have distanced themselves from the organization for different reasons, “are willing to return and contribute to its strengthening with a view to the next electoral processes.”

“We must build a broad consensus to elect Eddy Alcántara as the new president of the Reformist Party for the good of our organization.”

They understand that reformism needs a new leadership to strengthen that organization “and recover its lost strength and credibility.”

“Alcántara has all the political and human qualities to add many people to the party, so that it can successfully compete in the next elections,” they pointed out.

They insisted that the most convenient thing for the PRSC is to elect Alcántara as its new president, “all convinced that he will lead the party to be a decisive political force in the 2024 elections.”

Among the leaders of Santiago who support the choice by consensus of Eddy Alcántara as president of the PRSC, are the members of the Political Commission Santoni Espinal, Evelin Meléndez, Johanna Perdomo, Narciso Quiñones, Carlos Estrella, Agustín Almonte, Santiago Jiménez, Roberto Rodríguez , Aries Vargas, Eddy Ulloa, Niubelkys Domínguez, César Díaz, among others.
